Employment Options

Graduates are prepared to:

  • Begin working as entry-level interpreters
  • Transfer to a four-year college or university to complete a bachelor’s degree and possibly advanced degrees in chosen fields

  • Interpreter of Sign Language
  • Transliterator of Sign Language

Graduate Starting Salary Projections

  • $15–$40/hour (freelance or hourly services)
  • $30,000–$45,000 annually (staff employee)
